Pilgrims of Hope Pledge Day - Friday 27th June 2025
Today, every class took part in a special day of action, reflection and service as part of our Jubilee Pledge Day 💛
✨ Reception explored the wonders of God’s creation on a walk around our local area.
🎶 Year 1 brought joy to the residents at Belong, delivering beautiful prayer cards and singing for them.
🗑️ Year 2 helped care for our planet by litter picking in the community.
⛪ Year 3 went on a pilgrimage to our church, guided by Father Carl.
🥫 Year 4 learned about the importance of foodbanks and donated to Atherton Food Bank.
📝 Year 5 reflected deeply on our school’s mission statement and how we live it out.
☕ Year 6 hosted a fantastic Fair Trade coffee morning for parents and members of the parish and it was a huge success! They raised over £70 to support Fair Trade initiatives, while spreading awareness about ethical shopping and global justice. A big well done to Year 6 for their enthusiasm and hospitality!
We are so proud of our children for living out our mission and making a real difference in their communities!
