In Early Years we believe that children should develop their understanding of the physical world and local area through opportunities to explore, observe and find out about people, places and the environment. Children learn about similarities and differences in relation to places, objects, materials and living things. They talk about the features of their own immediate environment and how environments might vary from one another. In class they will make observations of human and physical features. They will talk about why some things occur, and talk about changes. They talk about places they have visited and their different experiences of these places.
Pupil voice shows that children enjoy their Geography learning throughout school. The following comments have been gathered from pupil voice, where children were given time to discuss their learning in Geography.
