Year 4 visited Bolton Museum and took part in Egyptian and Tropical Rainforest workshops as part of their History & Geography studies.
Year 2 visited Blackpool Zoo and took part in a Habitats workshops before visiting the other animals around the Zoo.
Our Year 6 class went to Low Bank Ground for their Residential. They enjoyed a range of outdoor activities including orienteering, kayaking and cave exploring.
Our Year 3 class visited Manchester's Museum of Science & Industry to further their learning and understanding of the Industrial Revolution.
Year 5 visited Jodrell Bank in Cheshire as part of their curricular studies in Science.
Our Year 2 class visited RHS Bridgewater and took part in a Festive Forage workshop exploring evergreen plants, collecting their leaves to make a Christmas wreath for the school. They also drew the wintery scenery they saw in a landscape sketching session. A very cold but enjoyable day!
As part of their History topic, Year 4 visited Chester to learn about the Romans in Britain. They explored the Grosvenor Museum before enrolling in the Roman Army learning basic battle formations and marching through the city with Roman shields.
GMP visited school to talk with our Year 6 pupils about the important messages and consequences of knife crime, discussing the implications for friends, families, victims, perpetrators and the wider community.
