Design Technology in Key Stage 2
At St. Richard's RC Primary School our Design Technology curriculum provides enrichment activities for our children. In this subject children build on the skills and knowledge they have gained during EYFS and Key Stage 1 completing exciting projects as they do. We design the curriculum to ensure children gain skills they will use in the future.

Pupil Voice
Pupil voice shows that children enjoy their Design Technology learning throughout school. The following comments have been gathered from pupil voice, where children were given time to discuss their learning in Design Technology.
- We are enjoying designing our own sliders.
- We can draw our own exploded diagrams.
- We are using KNex to make different types of bridges in our groups.
- We know how to make a moving part with a lever.
